On the 30th of last month, we were filming the wedding of local DJ, Andy Betts and his lovely bride Tina from the Andy Betts Roadshow at Ufford Park Hotel and Golf Club.

Looking through the lens of my video camera, across a crowded dance floor, I could see a couple watching me with smiles on their faces and as I tend to get tunnel vision, {paying attention to the wedding couple and not quite registering what's going on around me} it took me a moment to realize that they were Simon and Kelly, a couple that we had filmed getting married a couple of years ago.

Of course I immediately went over and we started chatting as if two years hadn't passed by in the wink of an eye.

At the end of the evenings filming,after saying my goodbyes to the bride and groom, I quickly said goodbye to our "other" couple.

Fast forward to this weekend and we were filming at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club and sure enough, looking across the dance floor, who should I see but Simon and Kelly beaming back at me. Now they assured me that they weren't following me, just happened to be friends with that weeks newlyweds and to be honest, I had to believe them because looking around the room, there was in fact 3 couples of ours dancing the night away.

One of the best parts of our "job" if you can call it that, is all about people. At this weeks wedding, not only did we see a couple from 4 years ago, but their parents were there too and all day I was politely turning down offers to "buy me a drink" because of what we'd done for their family with the wedding DVD 4 years ago.........Perhaps at the next wedding, I'll leave the car at home and take them up on their offer.
