From the moment we arrived at Marie and Jamie's house, to be greeted by Jamie and his Best Man Shan, his MC, Buff and his dog Alfie, we were party to a fantastic wedding. From filming Jamie walking in the corn fields opposite their house, on to filming Marie getting ready at her parents farm house, the action never stoppe

Marie's setting for getting ready was a videographer's dream, from the shots of the farm house, to the many different gardens laid to lawn, to the swimming pool and then the shots of Marie with her friends Zoe [Dodge] and Clare [Big Bird] having a final glass of champagne.

It was during this reflective time that Marie told us how she and Jamie had met and how they'd kept in touch whilst Jamie was stationed in Germany. She told us how she had given Jamie advice over the years and in her words, "how it had bitten him on the bum on more than one occasion!".

They were married in their local country church which stands on a breezy hill over looking the beautiful Suffolk countryside with all of Marie's girlfriends and Jamie's army buddies watching them.

From the hilarious groom's speech, followed by the equally hilarious speech given by Buff, whilst being heckled from the eager guests the day just got better and better.

We had filmed many of Marie's guests before as we had filmed her Maid of Honour's wedding {Zoe} a year earlier so we knew that the meal time would give us plenty to video, cue lots of guests with napkins on their heads and glitter confetti on cheeks and foreheads.

But what really was memorable was the way in which everyone immediately got on the dance floor and kept on it until midnight. We've never seen so many people enjoying themselves straight away and we ended up with over 8 hours of footage to edit down for the final wedding DVD.

Jamie was a brilliant host and Marie was a stunning looking bride and we would just like to say thank for the honour of filming your wedding.
