1. Are they a full time professional videographer, or is it someone just making a bit of cash (at your expense) from a part time hobby?
  2. How can you tell? ......Well here are a few tips......

    • When you phone them, call during office hours and use their studio land line and not their mobile phone number. If you can't contact them during the day, or someone takes a message or the answer phone kicks in, they are probably at their day job.

    • Do they answer with their company name. ....We always answer with "Any Occasions Videography, how can we help?".... If they just say "Hello", it might be because they’ve got another job and they don’t want to confuse the caller, or worse still, they think you’re the tax man.
    • Are they members of an accredited official body. For the past three years, we have been invited to join the Institute of Videography as an ordinary member, the first step to becoming a master member, and we accepted this invitation in October last year.
    • One of the benefits for the Bride and Groom of employing a member of the Institute of Videography, is that if you have any reason to be dissatisfied with our service in any way, you may contact the IOV for arbitration and we are legally bound to comply with their decision.
