Seckford Hall is not only a dream setting for a
wedding venue, and much sort after by brides,
.....but my wife and daughter also!!!

Seckford Hall wedding venue is set in 34 acres of parkland with beautiful lawns, a lake and of course the magnificent Tudor mansion that is Seckford Hall itself.
Entrance is down a sweeping stone driveway but most first time visitors eyes are locked firmly on the hall itself with it's many gables and soaring chimneys.

500 years of history and elegance

Seckford Hall was built by Thomas Seckford in 1530 and has now been in the capable hands of the Bunn family since 1951.
Though AOV have filmed many weddings at Seckford Hall in the past few years and I've always been involved in the editing side of the finished film, I personally haven't had the opportunity or the time to appreciate the many rooms, corridors and stairways that Seckford Hall contains.

And the reason for this is very simple,  ...................  my wife and daughter absolutely love it!!!

"Ooh, we're doing this one"

I personally have been to Seckford Hall over a dozen times, but not as often as Linda and Wanda and you will soon see why.
As each new video contract comes in, my wife checks the details before filing them away and the the first thing she looks for is the location.
That's when I hear the words,
"Seckford Hall ! me and Wanda are doing this one"

Exceptional views and locations

They love everything about it.
They know that they can create a truly stunning wedding DVD at Seckford Hall.
From the opening shots of the front lawns sweeping down to the hall itself, to shots of the bride and groom being welcomed at the front door by the smiling general manager, John Woodard and through to the picturesque terrace with it's lawns, flowerbeds, lily pond feature and the sound of tinkling water.
You can stroll across the lawn, past the Lakeside Terrace and down to the jetty that juts out over the large lake surrounded by mature trees and the resident ducks and wild fowl.

Capturing the splendour of the Lakeside Suite

Enter through the French doors and you are immediately struck by the decor of the Lakeside Suite.
From the large ornate candelabras hanging from the ceiling, the exposed beams in the walls and roof, the large ornate mirror hanging on the wall where we can film closeups of guests unobtrusively, to the timber balustrade of the romantic minstrels gallery. A more perfect setting for the Wedding Breakfast could not be found!

The real secret of Seckford Hall

In fact, to anyone who's spent any time at Seckford, this is no secret at all, but for those of you who haven't, it's this,...... the staff!!!

We film at all the local wedding venues and we can honestly say that the staff at Seckford Hall are the friendliest, and the most professional in consistent service.

From the owner, Michael Bunn, ready to serve the guests with a genuine, ready smile, to the always smiling (and can you see a theme forming here) general manager, John Woodard and last but not least, our favourite waitress, who always asks if we would like a coffee when we get a chance to sit down.
We always say to couples, come and meet us and see if we're the sort of people you want at your wedding and the same must be said of the people serving you, in whatever capacity.

"Hello, you're back again"

At a recent wedding at Seckford Hall, as usual Linda hopped out of the car to be ready for the couples arrival, and I heard John Woodard say ..."Hello, you're back again"... and it's this sort of welcome and personal recognition that builds up a relaxed rapport between professionals in the wedding industry that allows us get on with the job in hand and together produce a day that any bride will remember for a lifetime.

Seeing is believing
